GLP is building a logistics center for MCG EastBridge

GLP, an international company in the logistics real estate sector, is building in Niepołomice near Kraków. The exclusive tenant of GLP Kraków III will be MCG EastBridge from the Maszoński Logistic group. The center, with an area of over 56,000 sqm, which will be ready in Q2 2024, is one of the largest warehouse projects currently being implemented in Małopolska.

GLP Kraków III is being built on nearly 12.4 hectares in the immediate vicinity of the Niepołomice Investment Zone and numerous manufacturing plants. The building has been designed to support international logistics, customs warehouse services, and e-commerce operations. In addition to a modern warehouse, MCG EastBridge administrative staff will also have access to an office with an area of over 1,200 sqm.

Mirosław Maszoński, CEO of Maszoński Logistic explains: We decided to choose Kraków because, in our opinion, this market has enormous logistics potential due to access to the A4 motorway, which is part of the III Trans-European Transport Corridor. The route runs from the port of Calais in France to the eastern borders of Kazakhstan, which has recently been one of the most important transit locations in Europe. The ability to conduct logistics operations from near Kraków is therefore particularly important both in the context of our company's development and planned activities in neighboring countries.

The location of GLP Kraków III provides easy access to the A4 motorway and national road No. 75. An additional convenience is the proximity of the railway station in Podłęże, from where you can reach the center of Kraków in 25 minutes.

GLP Kraków III is being implemented in accordance with BREEAM certification criteria at the „Very Good” level and to the high standard that distinguishes all newly constructed GLP facilities. The building will offer the possibility of storing goods up to a clear height of 12 meters and a floor with a load capacity of 7.5 tons per square meter. The roof will be prepared for the installation of a photovoltaic system, and an increased number of skylights will provide natural lighting for the interior of the hall. Green areas, electric car charging stations, and a rest area for employees and drivers have also been planned.

Our investment, which the MCG EastBridge company will use as early as next year, is of great value to the local economy. The implementation of this project will contribute to transforming a degraded area into a modern logistics center. At GLP Kraków III, we will use energy-efficient and effective solutions that support our client's daily work. I am convinced that MCG EastBridge will find the best conditions for development here – says Marcin Żuchniewicz, Business Development Manager at GLP.

The general contractor for the GLP Kraków III Logistics Centre is the company Antczak.
