Harden Construction has completed the construction of a modern warehouse in Koluszki

Harden Construction – a general contractor for industrial space – has completed the expansion of a warehouse and production facility in Koluszki near Łódź. The new space has been handed over on time to the tenants – pet food manufacturer PetRepublic (LipCo Foods Group) and automotive parts supplier KAMOKA.

Harden Construction has completed the expansion of a technologically advanced production and warehouse hall in Koluszki near Łódź. The facility is located 30 kilometers from Łódź and Stryków, where two motorways, the A1 and A2, intersect. The investment in Koluszki for PetRepublic and KAMOKA meets the standards of the BREEAM Very Good certificate.

- This is yet another project we have carried out on the premises of an operating production plant. Our previous experience in expanding such facilities significantly contributed to the timely completion of the project. We are proud that more well-known companies and brands are joining our group of satisfied clients. We are pleased that PetRepublic and KAMOKA trusted us with the realization of such a technologically advanced facility, especially since we carried out the construction on the site of an operating factory. We have plans to build more production plants. We are currently building factories for manufacturers of construction materials and pharmaceutical products – says Paweł Fiuczek, Managing Director at Harden Construction.

Construction on the site of an operating factory
The investment involved expanding the existing 25,000 sqm facility by an additional 14,000 sqm. The expansion was the result of increased demand from the tenants of the Panattoni Park Koluszki facility.

- Since launching the plant in 2021, we have been developing dynamically. After 2 years, we filled the plant's production capacity. In Poland, we are already present in most retail chains. We export to over 36 countries in Europe, Africa, and Central Asia. We are constantly gaining new clients, which is why we needed to increase production capacity with additional lines for the production of cans and pouches – says Jarosław Kowalewski, President of the Management Board of PetRepublic, who is developing the pet food segment within the multi-food LipCo Foods group.
The segment under construction had to be connected to the rest of the building, where production and warehouse work was taking place in standard mode. The building was realized in a Design & Build formula. Harden Construction was responsible for building the facility in accordance with the Investor's requirements, including the use of floors meeting the DIN 15185 standard and adapted for high-bay warehouses and narrow aisle racking.

- The new segment of the building is a technologically advanced facility, adapted for the distribution of wet pet food. The quality requirements for this type of production are the same as the requirements for storing food for humans. This meant that there was no room for compromise and the investment had to be carried out with maximum care so that it would meet quality and sanitary standards – says Łukasz Kozerski, Operations Director at Harden Construction.

- Harden Construction demonstrated professionalism, diligence, and attention to every detail in the realization of such an important investment for our company. The work was completed on time, in accordance with the established schedule and the highest quality standards. At every stage of our cooperation, we could count on professional advice and a flexible approach to our needs. We fully recommend Harden Construction as a reliable and trustworthy partner in the realization of demanding construction projects - says Tomasz Kępiński, President and Co-owner of the KAMOKA Group.

Panattoni Park Koluszki is the seventh project by Harden Construction in the Łódź Voivodeship. To date, the general contractor has built nearly 300,000 sqm of warehouse and production space. Among the previous clients from the Łódź area are Media Expert and InPost. With the completion of this investment, Harden Construction has reached another milestone and exceeded the barrier of 900,000 m² of delivered industrial space.
