In the town of Sokołów near Warszawa, the construction of the modern VRE Janki logistics park has begun. The project is being carried out in cooperation with Hines and Kajima Poland. The investment is intended to strengthen the warehouse facilities of the Warszawa agglomeration and respond to the sustained demand for modern logistics spaces.

30 thousand sqm of modern space will be created

As part of the project, a warehouse hall with an area of approximately 30 000 sqm will be built. The commissioning of the facility is planned for the first quarter of 2027.

The investment was designed with companies looking for modern and energy-efficient warehouse spaces in mind, which can be flexibly adapted to individual operational needs.

BREEAM Excellent certificate and ESG solutions

Great emphasis was placed on issues related to sustainable development. The facility will apply for BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.

The investment includes, among others:

  • a photovoltaic installation on the roof,
  • charging stations for electric cars,
  • relaxation zones for employees,
  • solutions reducing energy consumption.

Thanks to this, the park is to meet the expectations of tenants focusing on modern and ecological logistics facilities.

Location by the most important routes

One of the greatest advantages of the investment is its location. The VRE Janki logistics park is being built at Sąsiedzka Street in Sokołów, in the immediate vicinity of the S8 and S7 expressways and near the A2 motorway.

Such a location provides quick access to Warszawa and efficient handling of deliveries in the following directions:

  • north–south (Gdańsk – Kraków),
  • east–west (Warszawa – Berlin),
  • Dolny Śląsk and north-eastern Poland.

Thanks to this, the facility can serve as both an urban distribution center and a regional logistics hub.

Warszawa remains a key logistics market

The Warszawa region consistently ranks among the most important warehouse locations in Poland. It benefits from a large consumer market, developed road infrastructure, and a strategic location in the center of the country.

At the same time, the new supply of warehouse space remains limited, which means that modern projects in the best locations continue to enjoy great interest from tenants.

An experienced team is responsible for the implementation of the investment

Kajima Poland, a company specializing in industrial and logistics construction, is responsible for the implementation of the project. The general contractor emphasizes that the facility will be built in accordance with high standards of quality, safety, and sustainable construction.

Hines is also involved in the project, bringing experience gained in the implementation and management of millions of square meters of logistics space worldwide.

A modern logistics center for the Warszawa agglomeration

VRE Janki is to be an attractive proposition for companies looking for modern warehouse space in the immediate vicinity of the capital.

The combination of a strategic location, high technical standard, and solutions supporting energy efficiency makes the project fit into the current needs of the logistics market and may become one of the most important distribution points in the Warszawa region.
