New Hillwood Warehouse Center is being built at the Łowicz Południe junction

Hillwood has started construction of the new Hillwood Łowicz Południe logistics park. A total of over 108,000 sqm of warehouse and office space will be created in two buildings. The investment will be completed in the first quarter of next year, and the first tenant is the Dealz retail chain.

Dealz is an international retail chain, part of the Pepco Group. The first Dealz store in Poland opened in February 2018. Currently, the chain operates in over 130 retail locations, offering over 3,000 products from well-known brands of groceries, drugstore items, home decor and furnishings, toys, tools, and pet products.

At Hillwood Łowicz Południe, Dealz has leased 47,700 sqm of warehouse and office-social space. The warehouse will serve as a distribution center for the Dealz retail chain in Poland.

Hillwood Łowicz Południe is a facility located in Łyszkowice, about a kilometer from the entrance to the A2 motorway (Łowicz junction). Thanks to this location, the warehouse park is perfectly connected to both Warsaw and Berlin. Fast connections of the investment with the southern and northern markets of the country are guaranteed by the A1 motorway, located just 24 km from the warehouse center. The facility consists of two halls with a total area of 108,627 sqm (hall A: 39,112 sqm and hall B: 69,515 sqm), with an above-standard height of 12 m and reinforced floor load capacity of up to 10 t/sqm. One of the elements of the investment was the reconstruction of about a kilometer of access road, the cost of which amounted to 1.2 million euros. Thanks to the investment, the residents of the municipality gained a widened road with a new surface, sidewalks, and lighting.

"Dealz has leased almost half of the space available in the Hillwood Łowicz project. We are pleased that this particular location was chosen for the company's new distribution center. The space will be adapted to the client's needs and will meet the expectations regarding each of the wide range of products stored there" - says Wojciech Dachniewski, Business Development Director at Hillwood Polska. - "Central Poland is the third largest warehouse market in the country, with a strategic location and availability of motorways and expressways, hence the great interest of companies in this location."
