Panattoni has acquired over 4 hectares of land and will develop Panattoni Park Bieruń just 2 km from the Stellantis car factory. The investment will be an excellent choice for automotive industry subcontractors, but it will also work well for e-commerce, logistics, or industrial operations.
Bieruń confirms its potential. Panattoni is already prepared to start the construction of another facility in Bieruń. To date, the developer has delivered two parks here with a total area of 97,000 sqm, which have been fully leased, confirming the attractiveness of the location. Furthermore, the international discount chain Action is using a BTS facility occupying over 60,000 sqm, and Panattoni is also finishing work on a factory for the Hager Group - a leading manufacturer of electrical products for the industry and real estate sectors. Now, the company will develop Panattoni Park Bieruń I with an area of 18,000 sqm. An advantage of the park will be its distance of just 2 km to the Stellantis car factory. This creates favorable conditions for subcontractors to operate a buffer warehouse for components supplied to the factory.
- "The Silesian Voivodeship has been strengthening its position as Poland's automotive hub for years, attracting European and global giants. In the vicinity of Bieruń, a leading supplier of components for the automotive industry in the EMEA region has already leased over 23,000 sqm, for whom proximity to the Stellantis plants was also key. This confirms the enormous potential that the factory creates for the region, and Panattoni Park Bieruń I will allow it to be utilized even more effectively" - says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni.
The proximity of the Stellantis plants is not the only location advantage of the park, however. The facility will also benefit from its proximity to the A4 motorway and the S1 road, as well as a convenient connection to the A1 motorway. This provides the ability to serve both the domestic market and international operations - a perfectly connected location can drive the development of dozens of industries.
Two and a half million for the first time. The Silesian Voivodeship is the first region in which Panattoni has delivered over 2.5 million sqm. - "Tenants and investors appreciate the developed infrastructure, access to qualified staff, and the support for entrepreneurship by local authorities. All these advantages make Silesia transition very efficiently from a mining hub into a modern industrial center of Poland, where technologically advanced production plants, distribution centers, and logistics parks are being built. Delivering 2.5 million sqm is a wonderful result, but also a harbinger of further strategic projects" - concludes Marek Dobrzycki. In Silesia, the developer is planning, among other things, the construction of Panattoni Park Katowice Airport with an area of over 210,000 sqm, which will be the largest facility under one roof in the region.
