Unitop, the largest producer of halva and sesame snaps in Poland and one of the leaders of the European market, is expanding its operations in Łódź. The company has leased over 6.7 thousand sqm of production and logistics space in Prologis Park Łódź, where it will launch a new plant supporting further growth in production and distribution.
The new investment is expected to allow the company to increase its production capacity, streamline order processing, and better prepare for further expansion into foreign markets.
A modern plant for the sweets manufacturer
The new space has been prepared with the specific requirements of the food industry in mind. The facility will carry out the full production process – from preparing the mass and mixing ingredients, through portioning, to packaging the finished products.
The new location is also expected to streamline the logistics of raw material deliveries and shorten the distribution time of products to customers in Poland and abroad.
Over 6.7 thousand sqm for production and logistics
As part of the agreement, Unitop leased over 6,700 sqm of production and warehouse space, which has been adapted to the requirements of food operations.
Thanks to combining production and logistics functions in one place, the company will be able to manage operational processes even more effectively.
The company remains faithful to Łódź
Despite the possibilities of development in other regions of the country, the manufacturer decided to stay in the city with which it has been associated for over 80 years.
The brand has been operating continuously since 1945 and has been developing its operations in Łódź from the beginning of its history. The new investment allows it to maintain its local production facilities while simultaneously creating conditions for further growth.
Tradition combined with modernity
The new plant is expected not only to increase the company's production potential but also to improve working conditions and create space for further development of the company in the coming years.
The location supports domestic and international distribution
One of the key advantages of the investment is the location of Prologis Park Łódź. The complex is located near the A1 motorway and the Stryków junction, where the A1 and A2 motorways intersect.
Thanks to this, the company gains quick access to the most important transport routes in Poland and efficient connections to foreign markets.
The benefits of the location include:
- quick access to the A1 and A2 motorways,
- efficient service of the domestic market,
- effective export distribution,
- the possibility of further development of logistics operations.
Prologis Park Łódź still has available space
After signing the agreement with Unitop, approximately 6.4 thousand sqm of space remains available in Prologis Park Łódź.
The complex is located in the Widzew-Olechów district, about 7 km from the center of Łódź. It offers modern logistics infrastructure, parking lots for passenger cars and trucks, preparation for electric vehicle charging stations, and recreational zones for employees.
The new Unitop investment shows that the Łódź region remains one of the most important production and logistics centers in Poland, attracting both international corporations and strong Polish brands expanding their operations in foreign markets.
