The InPost Group has launched the new OPO II Logistics and Service Center in CTPark Opole. The facility will be responsible for preparing Paczkomaty destined for foreign markets, strengthening the company's European logistics infrastructure.

The new center handles devices directed to, among others, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, and Italy.

Over 6.7 thousand sqm of modern space

InPost has occupied a total of 6 733 sqm of space in the OPOL01 building, including:

  • 6 207 sqm of warehouse space,
  • 526 sqm of office space.

The new facility serves as a logistics and service back-office, supporting the development of the international network of Paczkomaty.

From here, Paczkomaty go to Europe

The full process of preparing the devices for operation is carried out at the OPO II Logistics and Service Center.

The scope of operations includes:

  • service and configuration of devices,
  • wrapping of Paczkomaty,
  • technical diagnostics,
  • preparation for transport,
  • shipping to foreign markets.

About 700 devices pass through the center every month, and the facility handles an average of 60 transports per week.

Opole strengthens its position on the logistics map of Poland

The launch of the new center confirms the growing role of Opole as a location for advanced logistics and production operations.

The main advantages of the region are:

  • convenient location between the largest economic centers of southern Poland,
  • direct access to the A4 motorway,
  • developed road infrastructure,
  • access to qualified employees.

Facility ready for quick launch of operations

The space in CTPark Opole was designed from the beginning with production and logistics activities in mind. Thanks to this, InPost could quickly start operations without the need for costly and time-consuming adaptation works.

Such a solution allows for the efficient development of the European network of Paczkomat devices and flexibly scaling up operations.
