Prologis acquires modern warehouse space near Warsaw

Prologis has acquired modern warehouse space near Warsaw, strengthening its position in one of the key business regions in Poland. Prologis Park Grodzisk, which has joined the company's portfolio, is located 35 kilometers from the capital and 4 kilometers from Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The complex includes four buildings with a total area of nearly 70,000 square meters.

The acquisition of Prologis Park Grodzisk also marks a further deepening of cooperation with Grupa Raben, which underscores the strategic importance of this investment.

- Investment in Prologis Park Grodzisk confirms the dynamic development of our company in Poland. It is also a significant strengthening in the Warsaw region, one of the key ones for the warehouse industry in our country. After acquiring Prologis Park Grodzisk, we have a total of over 700,000 square meters of logistics space in this part of Poland. Thanks to continuous expansion, we are increasingly effectively supporting customers and contributing to the development of modern logistics in our country – said Paweł Sapek, Senior Vice President, Regional Head for Central Europe at Prologis.

All Prologis Park Grodzisk facilities have a BREEAM certificate at the Very Good level. Prologis is also planning additional investments to further improve energy efficiency and work comfort in the facilities. All buildings will be equipped with, among other things, an intelligent energy management system (smart metering), which will allow for ongoing monitoring and optimization of utility consumption. There are also plans to modernize lighting and implement a license plate recognition system, which will streamline entry to the park area.

New customers, closer cooperation
Thanks to the new investment near Warsaw, Prologis has gained two new customers who use warehouses in the logistics park near Warsaw. The acquisition also means expanding cooperation with a long-term partner – Grupa Raben. The logistics operator in Europe occupies about 75% of the warehouse space in Prologis Park Grodzisk, and additionally leases warehouses in eight other Prologis logistics centers in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany.
