Global technology company Rittal has decided to increase its warehouse space at Segro Logistics Park Stryków. This is the next stage of the company's business development in Poland and the Central and Eastern Europe region.
Under the new agreement, Rittal will increase its occupied space by 3,150 sqm, which means that in total the company will use 7,828 sqm of space in the logistics park.
The cooperation between the company and Segro has been ongoing since 2016 and includes the gradual development of warehouse facilities tailored to the needs of the industrial and technological sector.
The warehouse in Stryków plays an important role in serving Rittal customers in the region. The location in the center of the country enables quick access to major transport routes and efficient distribution to the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
The expansion of the space is intended to translate into better organization of logistics processes and increased efficiency in handling the growing number of orders.
Rittal provides solutions used, among others, in the area of IT infrastructure and Industry 4.0. Expanding the warehouse will allow the company to better respond to the growing demand for such technologies and streamline supply chain management.
Segro Logistics Park Stryków is a complex offering over 360,000 sqm of warehouse space, located about 20 km from Łódź, near the intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways.
The park provides modern infrastructure supporting logistics operations, including systems for improving transport handling and solutions for electric vehicles.
Rittal's expansion shows the growing importance of logistics facilities for companies operating in the new technology sector. Along with the development of data centers and digital infrastructure, the demand for modern warehouses that support the efficient functioning of supply chains is also growing.
