SEGRO Park Gliwice - Decathlon extends lease and focuses on sustainable development.

SEGRO has extended its lease agreement with Decathlon at SEGRO Park Gliwice, Einsteina. The building with an area of over 32,000 sqm has served the world's largest sports retailer as a warehouse since 2012.

The warehouse serves as one of Decathlon's central logistics hubs, from which stores and online sales in southern Poland and foreign markets are serviced. Additionally, a product collection point for retail customers operates at this location.

The building with an area of over 32,000 sqm was designed and built in accordance with the client's expectations, incorporating non-standard solutions tailored to their needs. The facility meets high quality standards, and further improvements to the building's parameters are planned in the coming years, including the installation of photovoltaic panels.

"SEGRO Park Gliwice, Einsteina is a key location for us, from which we have been serving markets in Poland and the Czech Republic for over a decade. Cooperation with SEGRO allows us not only to effectively manage operations but also to fulfill our environmental commitments through the use of solutions supporting sustainable development. We believe that this cooperation will continue to develop, opening up new opportunities for us in the future" says Maciej Badora, Operational Logistics Manager, Decathlon.

"We are proud that Decathlon, a global leader in the sports industry, remains one of our clients with whom we have a long-term partnership. The extension of the lease agreement is proof that our facilities meet the highest quality standards and respond to the needs of this dynamically developing company. We are pleased to be able to support Decathlon in their business growth by providing space that fosters both operational efficiency and sustainable development" adds Bartosz Michalski, Director, Logistics, Poland, SEGRO.
