SEGRO with a new lease agreement in Wrocław

SEGRO has signed another agreement with the company TVM Transport & Logistics, this time for the lease of a unique warehouse space configuration at SEGRO Park Wrocław, Targowa.

The cooperation between the two companies has been ongoing since 2022, when TVM Transport & Logistics leased approximately 2,500 sqm of warehouse space at SEGRO Park Tychy, Strefowa. Positive experiences led the transport services company to decide to lease nearly 1,600 sqm of non-standard warehouse space in Wrocław.

Despite the small size, the space covered by the agreement provides access to as many as twelve docks and one drive-in gate, which is an exception in large-scale buildings and allows the client to freely perform a large number of loading and unloading operations. For a company concentrating its fleet mainly in Central European countries, the warehouse will be the eighth transshipment point on the map of Europe and will be used to handle both delivery vans and trucks.

SEGRO continuously monitors and takes care of technical aspects, ensuring process continuity, and the well-organized office and social area guarantees high work comfort. The park features 24/7 security, an access control system, and innovative solutions such as automatic license plate recognition. Fire protection measures ensure adequate protection of the cargo entrusted to the company and compliance with TVM's safety standards.

The excellent location of SEGRO Park Wrocław, Targowa enables quick and convenient access to the S8 expressway and the A4 motorway, which are part of the Trans-European Transport Network. This will increase the potential and speed of handling orders carried out by TVM.

"The development of transshipment infrastructure is one of the elements of our company's business strategy. The location of the warehouse is important to us because we handle many transport orders in the vicinity of Wrocław every day. The new point will expand the network of fixed transport lines, which will improve the flow of cargo and enhance the quality of the services we provide. Furthermore, the new warehouse will shorten the Transit Time to our southern and western neighbors and increase the flexibility of our service offerings. The location of the warehouse brings us closer to the capital of the Czech Republic, which is an important area for us in terms of the number of transport orders carried out. Given that Lower Silesia is saturated with investments by German companies, the transport demand towards the west is also significant." - Adam Biłka, Vice President of the Management Board of TVM Transport & Logistics.

Both TVM and SEGRO care about sustainable development. In accordance with the Responsible SEGRO program, the building includes solutions aimed at, among other things, supporting low-emission development. TVM Transport & Logistics uses LED lighting and also has access to electric vehicle charging stations. A consistent strategy regarding care for the natural environment fits into the long-term cooperation between both companies.
