Vilmorin Garden expands cooperation with SEGRO

SEGRO, a leading developer, manager and owner of modern warehouse space, has leased 10,500 sqm of space to Vilmorin Garden in a new facility completed in 2021 at SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki. Thus, for several months now, a long-term SEGRO client has been operating in a much larger and more modern space.

Vilmorin Garden, owned by the French company Vilmorin Jardin, is engaged in the packaging and distribution of flower, vegetable and herb seeds, as well as flower bulbs and high-quality grass mixtures supplied by the world's largest producer, the Danish company DLF. The company is a long-term client of SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki and has been scaling its operations for some time in a newly built facility, based on a pre-let agreement for 10,500 sqm of space.

The support of dedicated Technical and Property Managers, as well as the attractive location of the park, significantly facilitate our daily operations. These were the main factors that prompted us to extend the contract last year" – says Władysław Peter, President of the Management Board of Vilmorin Garden.

In 2020, thanks to the acquisition of new land by the developer, SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki expanded by nearly 7 ha, and in 2021 another plot of 5.5 ha was purchased, which provides the opportunity to build almost 24,300 sqm of modern warehouse and production space and increases the park's potential to over 244,000 sqm.
